AM-50 S Bridge Vehicles

Built in the Czech Republic. Tested in Šternberk. Deployed thousands of kilometres away, on the other side of the world. That journey is part of a long term cooperation between Excalibur Army and the armed forces of a partner country in Southeast Asia. As part of this cooperation, we have supplied specialised military vehicles, provided extensive training for operators, and provided technical support at the deployment site. We have delivered five Decon decontamination vehicles and four AM-50 S bridge vehicles built on a TATRA TRUCKS a.s. chassis to the country. The AM-50 S bridge vehicles have been modified and reinforced for the customer to allow the passage of an armoured vehicle whose weight exceeds the MLC 50 limit by 1.5 tons. The first vehicles were manufactured in 2021 and subsequently tested directly at the company's premises in Šternberk, where the customer observed demonstrations of the bridge structure being loaded with heavy tracked vehicles. The official handover took place in October 2021 and was accompanied by intensive training for foreign crews.
